It’s working for a leading and growing Manchester-based fashion womenswear supplier and is seeking a Junior Womenswear Fashion Designer to join their dynamic and fast‑paced womenswear design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded womenswear high street designer who loves high street trend‑led fashion and wants to grow within a supportive, collaborative environment.What You’ll DoDesign trend‑led high street womenswear for a number of high‑street retailers in a growing teamResearch trends and contribute fresh, forward‑thinking design ideasCreate mood boards, CAD designs and develop themed rangesWork closely with design, sales, buying and production teamsSupport sampling, fabric/trim selection and prototype developmentAssist in organising samples and maintaining showroom newnessWhat We’re Looking For (the experience must have to be shortlisted, this role is “NOT” entry level)Previous and recent experience as womenswear designer of high‑street fashion, be it as a high‑street supplier or retailer, must be young fashion though and groundedStrong CAD skills and a great eye for fabrics, colour and printCreativity, commercial awareness and a proactive mindsetExcellent communication, teamwork and organisational skillsManchester based and eligible to work in the UKWhat’s On OfferExposure to major UK retailersHands‑on experience across the full design processOpportunities for development and progressionA friendly, creative team environmentHybrid working – 1 day per week from home after probationIf you’re passionate about womenswear and eager to bring fresh ideas to a fast‑moving design team, we’d love to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
