JUNIOR MERCHANDISER

This Junior Merchandiser role is for an established retailer specializing in goods for women. Their product assortment includes apparel, accessories, footwear and consumer goods. Salary/Hourly Rate: $45-60K (Depending on experience) Position Overview: The Junior Merchandiser will be working closely with the Merchandising and Buying teams to set up new product options, create and monitor purchase orders, assist with the creation and distribution of weekly sales reports and more. This Junior Merchandiser role requires organization, Excel skills, the ability to pick up on new systems and communication with all cross-functional teams and external partners. Responsibilities of the Junior Merchandiser: Provide weekly and monthly reporting and sales analysis Analyze selling trends, balance stock levels and conduct inter-store transfers to optimize sales Support team in Open to Buys Communicate regularly with vendors Track shipments, deliveries and transfers Manage purchase order cycle Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through communication directly with buyer, merchant teams and external vendors Qualifications of the Junior Merchandiser: Proficient in Excel (v-Look ups, pivot tables) Experience within a retail or fashion role Effective verbal and written communication skills Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Benefits: Provided upon eligibility
