About the Position This is an exciting opportunity to join the design team at Carters Inc. as a Children's Clothing Designer. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and market-right designs for children's clothing. You will be responsible for researching customer needs and trends to inform design decisions, developing fabrics, washes, dry finishes, repairs and trims that meet brand standards, and collaborating with merchandising teams to ensure designs align with business goals. Main Responsibilities • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs • Develop prototypes and present designs to stakeholders • Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure designs align with business goals • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in children's apparel design Key Skills and Qualifications • BA or BFA degree in Apparel Design or related field • 2-5 years of experience in children's apparel design • Strong knowledge of PLM tools and Adobe Creative Suite
