Job Description General Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for transaction in the company's ledgers, preparation of internal schedules and reports and managing and completing the bookkeeping needs of the division. General ledger accounting Month-end close Quarter-end close Year-end close Revenue and expense accruals Prepayment amortizations Account reconciliations Account and divisional analysis Journalization Bank reconciliation Fixed Asset Accounting Special projects as needed Understanding of expense allocations Experience in managing and maintaining a balance sheet Other duties may be assigned Specific Job Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting processes and ability to research those that are unfamiliar Understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll Accounting Excellent time management and organization skills required Experience working in a related consumer product company (e.g. apparel) Must be detail oriented Ability to multi-task Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with 1-3 years experience in A/R, A/P and Payroll Accounting. The pay range of this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate’s skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors.
