IT Security Architect

Job Scope This role will review current and new system and application security measures, recommend, test and oversee the implementation. Job Description \- Drafts conceptual and logical architecture specifications at both the enterprise and project level with a focus towards security \- Maintains, updates, and otherwise ensures continued relevance of Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) \- Works with internal and 3 rd parties to evolve legacy products to adherence to ESA \- Assists internal teams during system design with the drafting of logical architectural models with a focus on security \- Assists delivery teams during system design to promote the efficient re-use of IT assets \- Advises delivery teams during system development to assure compliance with security principles, guidelines, standards, controls, and governance \- Shares and articulates security vision with key stakeholders by organizing discussions and formal presentations \- Participates in working groups of subject matter experts for definition and review of security standards, guidelines, principles, and controls \- Works closely with other Enterprise architects to ensure a shared vision for architecture and security \- Provides technical guidance to cross-functional application development teams \- Designs, develops, and implements new security technologies as necessary to support business and technology solutions \- Should have CEH, SANS GCIH, SANS GCIA, SAP Security or an equivalent certification \- Should have strong application and network knowledge \- Should have minimum 5+ years of team leading skills in specific technology/area delivery \- Should be a problem solver with analytical and critical thinking skills \- Should be an excellent communicator \- Should be able to help and mentor team members and leads \- Should be advanced in technology and tools required for specific area/technology \- Should have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills on scope with local teams \- Should have worked on more than one platform to have perspective available solutions \- Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self but also for team \- Should be able to design solutions and author specification documents \- Should have a good understanding of GDPR and CCPA Specific Skills and Tools: \- Web Application, Authentication, Cloud security, Linux/MS systems, networking and security best practice
