Responsibilities Review and analyze financial data in a timely manner, primarily Inventory, Inventory reserves and gross margin areas Provide initial review of journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules for closing Reconcile complex assigned accounts including the preparation of accompanying documentation Prepare analysis and recommend solutions for problems/improvements to existing systems and processes Analyze records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries Apply principles of cost accounting with a primary focus on the basic review of work performed by accounting staff along with more in depth analysis of cost accounting and inventory data Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards Prepare analysis of expenditures and monthly report of operations Support the Inventory Control team during physical inventory
