INVENTORY PLANNING ANALYST

Description The Inventory Analyst works closely with Inventory Planners, Replenishment Planners and cross functional partners in driving business results and customer satisfaction. Working with a cross-functional team of merchandising, inventory, production and sourcing, the Inventory Analyst supports a select portion of the business both pre-season and in-season. Responsibilities Balance inventory across styles/SKUs considering buys in all inventory Item planning systems Manage and assign size profiles, create SKU projections, production schedules and commit timelines in Item Planning system Manage in-stock, fill rates, delivery slides, receipt reconciliation and commit timeline in Item Planning system Partner with Replenishment Planner(s) and Sourcing on the management and execution of fabric contingencies Participate in ad hoc Inventory Planning initiatives as appropriate Support a collaborative, innovative and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team resulting in shared best practices Provide Inventory and Replenishment Planner(s) and members of leadership with timely information and deliverables Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, best practices and to develop systems knowledge Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of the immediate and cross-functional team Manage to monthly BOM targets, provide recommendations and actions to hit the plan In-season management of inventory and flow to support sales trends Responsible for supporting the planner as needed in proofing catalogues and website for accuracy Manage minimums and elevate issues when they arise Interact and collaborate with global planning partners as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 12-18 month at the Associate Analyst level or relative work experience Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills with a strategic thought process Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross functional teams High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Proficiency in using Item Planning, MFP (receipt function), Business Objects, OBIEE, LE Mainframe, Excel and other required PC based packages Comfortable navigating Qlikview applications Understanding of role impact as it relates to financial metrics Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
