General Summary: The Inventory Control Analyst supports Steve Madden retail locations in maintaining accurate inventory for our customers. This position reports directly to Corporate Loss Prevention. Major Responsibilities: Conduct daily analysis of inventory software and reporting to ensure inventory accuracy Research all inventory-related discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments in the inventory system. Support Loss Prevention related functions, which may include investigative research Job Specific Requirements: Inventory Control Analyst must display high levels of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, with the ability to analyze and interpret inventory data Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Must be a strong communicator and team player Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, and/or Experience: 1-2 years of inventory control experience in a retail company or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job's essential functions, as determined by the company.
