INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER

Growing Home Textile Company - US owned and US Manufacturing looking for an Inventory Control Manager. Company offers a competitive base salary, full benefits with 401K, and relocation assistance. S/he conducts daily inventory verification and analysis to identify and solve problems in a timely manner. S/he reports to the Plant Manager and provides strong support to assigned direct reports. Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of inventory are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved Be an agent of change and continuous improvement Ensure training and competency of personnel Leads by example spending time on “Gemba” conducting observations for the identification and removal of waste in the warehouse process, taking into consideration people safety, material handling, resources uptime Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct Reports include Cycle Counters and Inventory Auditors Requirements, Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Experience in Inventory Control in large Warehouse within a fast-paced customer focused organization Ability to oversee and drive the implementation of inventory control systems to improve and maintain inventory accuracy enabling a world-class operation Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles Computer skills: strong experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP software (Oracle or similar) Strong analytical skills upon the creation of databases All Candidates must be able to provide work related references.
