INVENTORY CONTROL / DC AUDIT MANAGER

Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities: Assist the Director of Operations with the development of all inventory control activities by creating Distribution policies and procedures Manage all day to day operations related to inventory control Manages a diverse workforce of cycle counters Establish plans and implement new or updated programs to enhance the inventory control function Interpret corporate policy to ensure internal compliance Conduct monthly closing of the inventory accounts Monitor and assist with daily cycle count activities Oversee account reconciliations including perpetual inventory and accrued receipts Research to identify opportunities to improve efficiency or implement new systems Reconcile cycle counts and annual physical inventories for Distribution Center inventory Analyze on hand inventory to assist Director in supporting the business to identify and manage distressed inventory Identify, research, and resolve inventory variance between the physical quantities and those in the system Report any inventory variances over the predetermined threshold to loss prevention to further research Monitor records to ensure all valid POs placed by the company are received at the correct location and correct in the system; research open POs to resolve as necessary Builds productive partnerships with internal and external customers such as Global Logistics, Planning and Allocations, and Ecommerce Education and Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures required Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred Must be current on inventory control methods and procedures, as well as all applicable federal and state rules and regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Must be able to organize and control inventoried items, physically and by computer. Must have working knowledge of the proper operation of warehouse equipment. PkMS knowledge a plus. Excellent planning skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
