We are Transforming Infrastructure We are in the process of transforming infrastructure at Kohl's by building an enterprise platform that will empower Kohl's development teams to rapidly build high-quality, modern technology solutions that help differentiate us in the marketplace. We Take a Customer, Data Driven Approach As an infrastructure analytics reliability team, we have many internal customers including platform engineers, support teams, and developers building applications. Responsible for: \- Building trust in our developer platform through platform ecosystem observability and applying SRE best practices when defining customer SLIs and SLOs \- Building the data pipelines, models, and dashboards to provide observibility across Kohl's infrastructure \- Engineering data pipelines through APIs using GitOps solutions \- Interpreting data using advanced visualization techniques and tools through reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics \- Developing and implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning models within our developer platform to aid in: capacity planning, toil reduction automation, and improvements in MTTR \- Standardizing the tools our data analytics team develops to provide a consistent customer experience \- Mentoring team members to help them develop their technical knowledge of data analytics and data science \- Communicating advanced analytics concepts and information in an understandable manner for our customers and leadership team \- Working on a fast-paced, collaborative team in an agile environmentRequires: \- Strong knowledge of Python statistical programming \- Strong SQL and data management knowledge \- Strong knowledge building data pipelines utilizing development practices like CI/CD, test automation, and cloud deployments \- Experience building machine learning models \- Experience with data visualization (Grafana/Tableau) \- Passion for reliability, DevOps, and automation \- Passion for learning, tackling interesting work, and solving complex problems \- 3+ years of relevant work experience \- BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field Preferred: \- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery \- Experience with Openshift, Prometheus, and Kubernetes
