INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Independent Sales Representative to join our growing team. As an Independent Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our lines of women's fashion accessories, straw and felt hats, and cashmere products to leading off-price and traditional retail customers. This role is perfect for an experienced sales professional with an existing showroom who excels in building and maintaining strong relationships and is passionate about the fashion and apparel industry. Rafac International, Inc. may contribute to the rent of the showroom. Partnership we are looking for: Identify and target prospective off-price and traditional retail customers for our branded products Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at targeted retail accounts Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product line proposals tailored to individual customer needs Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide feedback to internal teams for product innovation and improvement Attend trade shows, sales events, and other networking opportunities to expand customer base and maintain a strong industry presence Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer contacts, and account information Report sales activity and results on a regular basis What you bring to the table on Day 1: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the fashion and apparel industry, with a focus on women’s accessories Established network of off-price and traditional retail contacts; prerequisite Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Google Drive, and EDI Availability to travel for trade shows, sales events, and customer visits as needed Passion for fashion and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
