Hybrid - Director of Ecommerce and Marketing

Leading luxury knitwear company seeks Director of Ecommerce and Marketing to manage an ecommerce team, improve current ecommerce operations, increase marketing efforts, create and accelerate ecommerce sales, work with outside public relations agency and work with CFO to manage ecommerce projection and budget to increase profitability. Duties will include but will not be limited to: Run every facet of ecommerce business, including merchandising the website; Work with outside consultant on growing Amazon business; Create time and action calendar to include photo shoot dates, launch dates, email blast dates, and social media posting dates; Manage existing ecommerce team; Establish and monitor monthly goals; Work directly with PR to establish and grow brand awareness, create and monitor collaborations, establish a successful affiliate program and arrange special events; Create marketing material for wholesale team (email blasts for tradeshows, etc); Expand current brand ambassador program; Control inventory levels; Handle all drop ship accounts with sales manager; Assist on ecomm photo shoots; Work to grow existing email list; Expand our social media presence; Add content to website weekly to improve organic search; Monitor customer service; Establish and expand live chat; Determine staffing needs and hire as needed within approved budget; Create corporate gift program; Create Every door direct program; Create marketing material to include in boxes of ecommerce shipments; Research better packaging options; Maintain weekly progress report to review with management Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3- 5 years Experience in Building and Maintaining an ecomm site using Shopify Experience working with Social Media Experience working with PR team Ability to manage people Ability to multi task Ability to work under pressure against deadlines Results driven Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
