HUMAN RESOURCE OPERATIONS MANAGER

This $600M growing US based Home Textile Company with multiple facilities in the US and Canada is looking for a Human Resource Operations Manager for their 280K square foot facility between Dallas and Fort Worth Texas. The company produces branded and licensed product for all major brick & mortar retailers and major eCommerce players. The Human Resource Operations Manager thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment as s/he manages all aspects of human resources in a manufacturing location to include recruiting, policy and labor contract interpretation and application (as applicable), social compliance auditing requirements, benefits administration, terminations, exit interviews, merit reviews, workers compensation, and safety compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and selecting associates to fill vacant positions Works closely with local team leaders in the development of staffing plans, managing the hiring process and outsourcing staffing while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and Company policies while fostering attracting, motivating and retaining a high-performing diverse workforce Timely updating of organizational and staffing charts in preparation of communicating staffing updates and recruitment needs Oversee company policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws as well as manage labor contract compliance where applicable Plan and conduct new associate company and safety orientation to foster effective transition to the company as well as to ensure that new associates are properly trained for their position and plant safety practices Oversee safety policies and training to ensure compliance as well as consistent and effective application Administer workers compensation to ensure timely accident investigations and proper filing with the Insurance Carrier as well as facilitate the associate's return to work Manage associate relations including associate complaints in a timely and effective manner, this may include conducting investigations and recommending resolutions Conduct local legal and managerial training to foster the development of associates Coach and provide input to managers and supervisors to provide quality, timely and consistent performance management reviews as well as support ongoing performance recognition as well as disciplinary action as needed Be a strong steward of a positive and productive organization culture making recommendations and applying the applications, programs, and processes to change and transform the culture Oversee and implement associate relations initiatives such as associate luncheons, holiday recognition events, associate professional development activities etc. as appropriate in location Requirements, Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and a strong work history in Human Resource Management 5+ years of past HR experience preferably in a manufacturing location 2 years Management experience HRCI PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred Proven experience in recruitment and staffing in a challenging employee market Systems experience to include applications such as or similar to SuccessFactors, ADP Workforce, SharePoint, etc.
