Key Responsibilitaies HR Administration Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance Strong understanding of all company policies and handbooks in order to effectively communicate policies and guidelines to employees Complete employment verifications Maintain employment files and e-records Oversee onboarding of all new employees including initiating correct system access and set up Act as HR point person for all new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the business Train employees to use Paycom Assisting the Head of HR with payroll by reviewing and preparing all timecards/edits/adjustments for every payroll Involved in conducting exit interviews and manage the exiting process for all departing employees Summarize common themes from exit interviews and report back to key leaders in the business and HR Track the receipt of performance reviews for 30/60/90 day and annuals, follow up to ensure all reviews have been completed and returned to HR Recruitment Manage the recruitment process – drafting job descriptions, posting jobs, reviewing resumes, facilitate and coordinate initial interviews, and check reference checks Make recommendations on recruitment ideas and initiatives Attend recruitment fairs as needed Benefits Help manage benefits; including educating employees, disseminating paperwork/forms/collateral, and managing enrollment/termination Assist with COBRA coverage, transit benefits, fringe benefits, etc. Assist with unemployment, worker’s compensation, disability claims Key Objectives and Deliverables Acts as the liaison between the HR department and the employees, providing excellent service and hospitality to all employees. Experience and Skills 3-4 years’ HR retail/fashion experience with knowledge in recruitment and benefits Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Experience with Paycom is a plus Ability to work with ATS software In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities Familiarity with social media recruiting Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple overlapping priorities. Must be flexible, compassionate, and seek to be innovative in their approach to problem solving.
