Head of Product Design, Development and Quality w/ a Sense of Humor

This position will lead and build our product design and development team, taking our product from very good, to best in class. Concept and work with the team to develop new innovative, high quality products that are top of line and within budget. Improve design and development processes to work more efficiently and develop high quality products faster. Excellent communication: ability to communicate and present vision in a compelling and inspiring way to the entire business. Must Haves: A sense of humor 10+ years of experience in apparel development and design of new products including 2+ years in direct management of design and/or development team Experience working at an organization that consistently demonstrates product excellence Strong leadership skills with proven success in leading a team and the ability to speak truth to power Extensive experience with full product creation process from concept through production Extensive knowledge of fit, fabric, garment construction, trims and applications Experience with wovens and knits.
