Fashion First Workshops After School Program Instructor "> We're expanding our program to provide a unique, creative, fun and educational way for children to learn the skills needed to become fashion designers. This is an exciting opportunity to join our fashion design team of instructors and share your passion for fashion with students. ">Job Summary "> "> • Lead the after school program by overseeing students and assistant designers at designated locations"> • Teach classes using the FFW curriculum and ensure students stay on task"> • Assist in administering the FFW missions and values"> • Take attendance and report absent students to the lead designer"> • Manage fabric and supply needs for the week"> • Lead and participate in setup and breakdown of the site"> • Communicate with location managers about site pros and cons"> • Participate in required training"> • Evaluate staff progress and provide feedback"> ">Requirements "> "> • Sewing machine skills"> • Valid driver's license and car"> • Ability to lift 25 pounds (sewing machine and supplies)"> • Casual dress attire, smart casual"> • 2+ years of experience working with children (preferred)"> • Passion for fashion and education"> • Minimum age 20 years old"> • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team"> • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills"> "> Locations: Westfield, Summit, Fanwood, New Province, Livingston, Union, Madison, NJ ">
