Girls Outerwear and Swim Designer

This is a full-time role for a Girls Outerwear and Swim Designer for a leading childrenswear manufacturer in New York, NY. As a Girls Outerwear and Swim Designer at Children's Apparel Network, you will be responsible for designing and developing seasonal collections of outerwear and swimwear for girls, Tod to size 16. You will work closely with production teams, to ensure that materials are properly sourced and all designs are executed according to quality standards. Your main focus will be to create original, trend-driven, and age-appropriate designs that meet the needs of our customers while reflecting each brand's DNA. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of textile design and product development Strong sketching and Adobe Creative Suite skills Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Ability to think creatively, outside-the-box and conceptually A love for children's fashion and a strong sense of style A keen eye for color, pattern, and proportion Requirements Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, or a related field 3+ years of relevant experience in kids outerwear and swimwear design Industry Wholesale Employment Type Full-time Salary: $70-$80K
