In this role, the Generalist, People Business Partner will contribute to the development of People Initiatives with a strong focus on recruitment, employee relations and talent management.Key Qualifications:4 year Bachelor Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Retail, or Business Management2-4 years of applicable progressive professional and business experience (HR and recruitment experience strongly preferred)Experience in a retail/merchant or technology environment and interest and understanding of the fashion industry preferredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteYou are highly organized and detail-oriented and can prioritize and multitask.You have excellent interpersonal skills with the capability and desire to work within a collaborative team, and possess an interest to grow into other People related roles.Role Description:Serve as the People Business Partner and manage the implementation of People processes and initiatives for employees for the fulfillment centerSupport information for all employee lifecycle events:Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage the recruitment process for open Manager level rolesManage full cycle recruitment: This includes, but is not limited to; research, sourcing (cold-calling), pre-screening, interviewing, qualifying, referencing, offer negotiation and placement management for junior level and high volume hires (i.e. below Manager and individual contributor roles).Administer new hire, promotion and exit interview activitiesOversee New Hire Onboarding and Orientation planning and executionPartner with internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional onboarding experienceManage documentation for employee changes, including salary, reporting structure, position changes and internal offer lettersInvestigate and support resolution of employee relations issues in partnership with the Legal departmentSupport the execution of employee engagement activities for the client groupLiaise with support teams to manage general reporting and data requestsSupport the PBP team activities throughout the year including, Annual Talent Review Process and Annual Goal Setting ProcessParticipate in and/or lead task forces and special projectsYour Life and Career at Saks:Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunitiesA culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balanceBenefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental).An amazing employee discountSaks.com is an equal opportunity employer.
