Collaborating with other maintenance technicians, you will solve complex problems, validate contractor work, and optimize ammonia refrigeration equipment. Your role requires expertise in system control logic and troubleshooting techniques, and you will serve as a technical trainer for other maintenance technicians. Ensure the proper functioning and troubleshoot any problems with the electrical and mechanical aspects of Ammonia Refrigeration Equipment, encompassing evaporators, compressors, condensers, vessel packages, and piping systems.Take an active part in all facets of Target's Process Safety Management (PSM) program.Administer precautionary and repair maintenance actions.Supervise, restart, amend, or refresh components as required.Keep machinery in optimal condition by cleaning, applying lubrication, and painting.Troubleshoot and fix power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting configurations, transformers, and wiring strategies that are compatible with voltages reaching 480V.Maintain and service facility machinery such as Powered Industrial Trucks, HVAC units, compressors, dryers, and balers.Analyze and decipher electrical and electronic schematics.Collaborate with fellow technicians to devise contingency measures for urgent maintenance of essential equipment.Assist in the development and supervision of Maintenance Technician Trainees to enhance their skills.Utilizing mobile devices and asset management tools can streamline the process of generating and finalizing Work Orders with precise data.Foster cooperative and productive associations across various levels within the organization.Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to promote a safe work environment.Earn and preserve your RETA CARO endorsement.Physical Demands: Shows strong competency in operating PCs and a high level of proficiency in mobile app usage.Familiarity with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical testing methods.Experience in:Implementing regular inspections and upkeep is fundamental for the proper functioning of ammonia refrigeration systems.Expertise in blueprint and schematic reading includes the skill of comprehending and interpreting complex technical schematics.Work order management.The role of electricity, controls, and electronics in industrial electrical systems.PLC systems are favored for their reliability, speed, and versatility in managing a wide range of control functions.Meeting the requirements outlined in the NEC is a key aspect of ensuring electrical systems are safe and functional.The guidelines provided by the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) are instrumental in promoting efficiency and safety in the industry.The standards recommended by RETA are fundamental for technicians and engineers working with refrigeration systems.Earning a degree from a technical or community college or obtaining certifications in PLCs, Industrial Networks, Machine Logic, or Robotics, with a particular focus on either Mechanical or Electrical orientation preferred.Proficient in managing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems for a period exceeding four years.It is preferred that candidates possess CARO or CIRO certification.Strategies for the preventive and predictive maintenance of ammonia cooling systems.The skill of interpreting blueprints and schematics requires a thorough comprehension of technical drawings and diagrams.Work order management.The discipline of industrial electrical, controls, and electronics focuses on optimizing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of industrial systems through the integration of electrical and electronic components.The primary function of PLC systems is to automate processes through programmable logic, enabling efficient control and monitoring of industrial operations.Observing the mandates set by the National Electrical Code (NEC).The guidelines established by the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) are critical components in maintaining the safety and reliability of ammonia refrigeration operations.Directives from the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association (RETA) regarding best practices.Benefits:
