Full-Time Store Merchandising Lead

About the position

As Merchandising Lead you will execute sales floor merchandising, pricing and recovery, and deliver excellent customer service. As an expert in your assigned departments, you will execute all merchandising processes while remaining focused on brand standards and customer service.

Responsibilities

Execute store merchandising standards following merchandise and visual guidelines for product presentationMaintain appropriate levels of product on the sales floor by remerchandising and replenishment as necessary based on sell through and seasonal changesExecute timely and accurate merchandising according to company guidelines and brand standardsExecute pricing activities (e.g., price changes, sign changes, ticketing) accurately and efficientlyFollow and ensure adherence to all product protection standards, guidelines and company policies implemented to minimize product lossSupport the training of associates on merchandising standards, product knowledge, and tools adhering to Kohl’s brand standards as directed by store leadershipSupport and partner with other associates on merchandising incoming product with a focus on customer experienceActing with integrity, honesty and fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive cultureExercising good judgment and discernment when making decisions; taking appropriate partners as neededDemonstrating a customer service mindset, including customer service philosophies, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issuesLeading by example by personally meeting or exceeding individual goals (e.g., productivity, credit, loyalty)Delivering strong operational standards, shortage mitigation, and merchandising presentation to include accurate pricing and proper signingAccomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframesTraining, monitoring and reinforcing company policies, procedures, standards and guidelinesMaintaining adherence to company safety policies for the safety of all associates and customersOther responsibilities as assignedRequirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or olderFlexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsBasic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.Nice-to-haves
