Full-Time Beauty Team Leader

About the position

As Beauty Team Leader, you will lead the beauty team to drive sales and department initiatives through a passion for beauty and a consultative approach to engaging clients. You will maintain expert knowledge of leading beauty brands, execute merchandise sets, and support replenishment and visual standards. You will guide the team in meeting Sephora at Kohl’s standards and delivering an excellent client experience.\n\nThe role includes leading and coaching the Beauty Team, supporting sales performance and client loyalty, maintaining product and trend knowledge, ensuring required training is completed, and executing visual merchandising, operational, replenishment, and inventory activities. Associates are also expected to act with integrity, support an engaged and inclusive culture, follow company policies and safety programs, complete tasks within established timeframes, and respond to direction from company leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead the Beauty Team to deliver a positive and compelling client experience.Partner with the Store Manager to provide leadership for the Beauty Team.Build a strong department culture by executing recognition programs, rewarding client experience and sales, and providing feedback and coaching.Serve as a point of contact for the Store Manager, Sephora Training Team, and other partners.Drive sales performance by understanding and executing sales plans and holding the team accountable for goals.Build client loyalty by identifying client needs, suggesting products, and upselling where appropriate.Use product and beauty-trend knowledge to provide credibility and inspire clients through product demonstrations and application.Complete required training and ensure the team completes its training within established timelines.Partner with the Store Manager and Sephora partners to identify and address additional training opportunities for Beauty Advisors.Execute Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets, tester maintenance, department cleanliness, and hygiene standards.Ensure timely, consistent sales-floor replenishment.Support omni-processing within the department.Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, inventory counts, and price changes.Act with integrity and honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture.Exercise good judgment and discernment, involving appropriate partners as needed.Support and execute safety and shortage-reduction programs according to company guidelines.Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and follow company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.Maintain adherence to company safety policies for associates and customers.Receive, understand, and proactively respond to direction from leaders and other company personnel.Perform other responsibilities as assigned.Complete company training programs and comply with dress code requirements.Maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet company scheduling requirements.Perform work in accordance with the stated physical requirements.Requirements

Five years of client-facing retail or service industry experience.Authentic passion for beauty.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence clearly and concisely.Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to perform the role’s accountabilities and satisfactorily complete company training programs.Ability to comply with dress code requirements.Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.Ability to operate and communicate on multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and, occasionally, more than 50 pounds with a two-person lift.Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift of at least eight hours.Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.Ability to comply with health and safety standards.Benefits
