Full time Assistant Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our retail operations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to maintain a productive and welcoming shopping environment. Duties • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation • Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily financial reconciliation • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulationions • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction • Execute marketing initiatives to promote store products and services • Monitor store performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management Qualifications • Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities • Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers and staff • Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, and retail math • Experience in sales management, pricing strategies, merchandising, stocking, and marketing techniques • Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette and organizational abilities • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively • Knowledge of budgeting, cash handling procedures, and administrative tasks related to retail management • Prior experience as an assistant manager or in shift management is highly desirable • Strong time management skills with the ability to oversee store operations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
