About the position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer-focused, sales-driven, profitable, and productive store. The role inspires and motivates associates through Pacsun’s core values, supports a customer-focused selling culture, ensures execution of store KPIs, and holds employees accountable for company policies and procedures.\n\nThe position leads customer experience, store operations, visual standards, merchandise flow, and associate performance and engagement. It is full-time, requiring 32–40 hours per week and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods. Responsibilities

Ensure team members deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.Handle customer situations in compliance with policies and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and escalate as appropriate.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store and stockroom.Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.Serve as floor supervisor as needed, including covering non-peak periods and breaks.Hold self and others accountable for completing operational tasks.Coach and provide feedback on Sales Associate performance; recognize and reward outstanding performance.Direct associates to ensure they understand company directives and standards.Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet operational needs.Support and execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.Drive efficiency in store processes and maintain merchandise flow, filling, and presentation standards.Ensure associates follow company policies, procedures, and Safety Program practices.Demonstrate passion for Pacsun products, brands, fashion, and trends, and motivate others through core value behaviors.Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent.Develop cross-functional partnerships and promote transparency, collaboration, and accountability.Represent Pacsun as an advocate in the industry and marketplace.Model conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, and balance a strong management presence with approachability.Requirements

Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.Strong communication skills.Excellent time-management skills.Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.Ability to work 32–40 hours per week and maintain schedule flexibility, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.Nice-to-haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
