Responsibilities: • Maintain top-notch customer service through adherence to predefined service norms • Offer a genuine and friendly greeting to all arriving guests • Quickly assess the needs of guests and adjust your approach accordingly • Help guests by providing information about products and problem-solving options • Confirm the accuracy and efficiency of scanning, bagging, and payment processing tasks • Maintain a clean and well-ordered work environment • Share news about promotions, product releases, and store events with guests • Motivate customers to sign up for loyalty programs and consider applying for store credit cards • Support guests in maximizing their usage of digital platforms, such as the store app and internet services • Perform returns in adherence to store policies to meet customer needs effectively • Improve the proficiency in dealing with order pick-ups, drive-up services, and gift registry transactions • Help address and calm guest issues and reduce tensions in a manner that aligns with store regulations • Guarantee that regulated products follow all federal, state, and local laws as mandated • Aid in various aspects of store operations as needed to meet the demands of the business Target also is using GenAI to elevate its digital experience for consumers, including GenAI-powered product pages and search capabilities that curate the most relevant results and make it even easier for consumers to find everything they need when shopping on Target.com.
