Our client is currently seeking a Freelance Sweater Design Assistant to join their team! Salary/Hourly Rate: $17-19/hr DOE Position Overview: The Freelance Sweater Design Assistant is responsible for supporting the Creative Director during the full design process from implementation of ideas to finished product with approximately 50-60 styles per season. • Own the full product design process including market research, yarn selection & stitching, designing based on initial concept, hand sketching, flat sketching, specing, creating tech packs, color & trim selection and ensuring that product is designed to meet target customer's fit criteria • Maintain the progression of design in the Design Directors absence
