FREELANCE SITE MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

Location: Remote for now but will be in NYC office We are looking for a Freelance Site Merchandising Assistant for a major fashion brand in NYC! This role is remote for the time being. Responsibilities: Working with the Site mech team in supporting all the products information uploading, to get products live on the site for North America Partnering with the photography team and merch/buying on any sample coordination/missing samples and imagery Providing accurate copy on time and in full, working cross functionally with photography, editorial and the product merch teams Compiling tech information, and exporting this from RLM (systems) into excel and then formatted and sent over to the editorial team Reviewing the product lists with the site merch team, ensuring the merch/buying teams have filled out all required information on time and in full Updating all category and attributions in the online system from the SMMB to excel to an upload. Checking these have accurately attributed and troubleshooting any issues for each seasonal uploads Creating and evaluating any new categories and attributions for the Site Merch team and uploading products to these Working on mini projects like Custom copy to ensure this is delivered separately to the seasonal copy Management of timelines and being super organized Working with several different teams across the business inclusive of the EU office Triggering translations on copy if required for the CA French site as well as the EU translated site Uploading any amended copy due to inaccuracies, or merch/buying/customer service call outs Addressing any imagery issues with the DC and the photography team across the global (EU, CA and US) Clear and open communication is required with full transparency of the process and where we are Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions rather than going with the flow Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of RLM software is a plus 0-2 years of experience in Ecommerce, Buying or Merchandising Bachelor's Degree Detail-oriented Ability to manage timelines Can work independently and with a team #rwfh
