We’re looking for 2-3 people with a range of skills to join us on a flexible, freelance basis. We Offer- • Freelance work with flexible hours and scheduling • A calm, low-stress, non-customer-facing environment • Hands-on access to vintage, antique, and designer fashion • The chance to work with garments dating from the 1850s through modern couture Qualifications- • Highly skilled in fashion-related sewing and garment construction • Comfortable handling a wide variety of repairs, from reattaching buttons to relining coats • Experienced in working with both men’s and women’s clothing • Able to alter or creatively restyle garments that are too damaged to wear as-is • Passionate about restoration and historical preservation • Comfortable working with a wide range of garments, including delicate antique pieces and couture • Exceptionally organized and self-directed • Easy to communicate with, open to collaboration and feedback • Approaching this work with a preservation-first mindset Location & Requirements- • All work is on-site at our studio in Clyde, North Carolina • We’re located about 10 minutes from I-40 (Exit 24 toward Hot Springs) • Reliable transportation is essential • You must be comfortable working independently and keeping digital repair logs Schedule: • Choose your own hours • Day shift
