FREELANCE PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

To help us build a smooth and efficient process from design to production, we are searching for a freelance Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator will collaborate with the Head of Development & Production to execute all production functions. Execute all pre-production and production processes including but not limited to: raw material orders, pre-production sample approvals, and in-line quality control checks Partner with Head of Development & Production to create and manage pre-production and production calendars for each collection, ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, and cross functional partners Actively research and pursue the best vendors, factories, and supplier capabilities against the assortment plan for production matrix around quality and cost Work closely with all outside vendors and factories including suppliers, marking/grading, cutting service, sewing contractors, and wash/dye houses Maintain the margin and financial goals for product cost throughout the production process by monitoring and influencing cross functional decision making Communicate with in-house design team and report updates to the Head of Development & Production and Creative Director Create and issue cut tickets and bulk purchase orders for both raw materials and finished goods
