Freelance Print CAD Designer

D’IYANU is an exciting and growing ecommerce brand seeking to hire a freelance Print CAD designer. Approximately 20 hours/weekly to work with the design and fabric teams to develop original prints and original pattern designs. Develop new and existing prints through color separation, cleaning and creating repeats Oversee consistency in color standards and color pitch sheets across fabric and prints within each season Recolor, color separate, and create repeats for both original and studio prints Review strike offs and the timely execution of all prints Creates technical breakdown of all print and pattern layout specifications for design as a tool for vendor fabric development Use color palettes and design inspiration to produce alternate print colorways. Conceptualize new print ideas and follow-through to finished artwork Provide Design with ready artwork, in print and electronic format for internal and external partners Collaborates with design and production on all colorways, layouts, and final artwork to be sent to mills Collaborates on the visualization, presentation, and communication of pattern concepts thorough CAD artwork Calibrates color palettes Comply with developmental calendar and ensure all deadlines are met on a timely basis Additional responsibilities as required Minimum of 5 years of print experience in the fashion industry B.S.
