About Jumeaux
Jumeaux is an independent women's fashion brand creating collections rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling, and thoughtful design. Our collections are inspired by travel, artisan techniques, vintage textiles, and the belief that clothing should carry meaning. We're looking for a freelance PR professional who is excited to help introduce Jumeaux to editors, stylists, podcasts, newsletters, and media outlets that align with our brand.
About the Role
Remote freelance position, approximately 8–12 hours per month to start, with room to grow as the brand grows.You'll own earned media strategy and help build long-term awareness for Jumeaux through thoughtful, relationship-based outreach.Responsibilities
Develop monthly PR strategies and story angles.Pitch editors across fashion, lifestyle, travel, design, entrepreneurship, and culture.Build and maintain targeted media lists.Coordinate product gifting with editors, stylists, and select creators.Identify podcast, interview, and speaking opportunities for the founder.Research seasonal gift guides, awards, and editorial opportunities.Follow up consistently and maintain a press tracker.Provide a concise monthly report with outreach, responses, placements, and recommendations.Who We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in fashion, lifestyle, design, or contemporary brand PR.Experience with independent, artisan, contemporary, boutique, or slow fashion brands is preferred.Strong writing and pitching skills.Highly organized, proactive, and relationship-oriented.A genuine appreciation for storytelling, craftsmanship, and creative brands.Success in This Role
30–50 thoughtful, personalized media pitches each month.Strong editor and stylist relationship management.Consistent follow-up and organized reporting.Creative recommendations for increasing brand visibility.Steady progress toward meaningful earned media opportunities.Compensation
Freelance retainer beginning around $800/month, with opportunities to expand the scope and compensation as the partnership grows.
