Freelance Designer – Children’s Sleepwear - Girls & Boys sizes NB - 16 Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned, licensed and private label brands is seeking a Designer with experience in Girls and Boys to freelance with our creative and fast-paced Komar Kids team. Candidates must be able to work remotely and in our Jersey City, NJ office. Please send links to on-line portfolios with examples of children's apparel (big boys & girls) Responsibilities and qualifications include: Research, develop and present graphic trends appropriate for all product categories and fabrications Work with the Design Director managing the design process from concept to production Design prints and graphics for all private and in-house brands Adhere to all time and action calendars Helps execute graphic art process within the seasonal calendar to meet all deadlines in a timely manner Follow all company processes for production artwork / packages Update artwork, line sheets and catalogs when necessary Work with the Design Director to ensure the daily work is completed on time Help execute graphic artwork process within the seasonal calendar Work with Design Director and VP of Design to help assemble concept, trend and presentation boards Minimum of 2 years related work experience needed
