The Associate Flat Stylist helps facilitate the current look and feel of the brand through product styling for still-life photography. Our work environment relies heavily on teamwork, and we are seeking someone who is an excellent communicator and works well in groups. Role Responsibilities • Execute product styling for web photography for a range of items such as accessories, shoes, intimates, apparel, and beauty & wellness • Adhere to style guidelines and art direction to ensure the highest standards of the brand are met • Work closely with product photographers to ensure that all product details are shown and representative of the brand • Ensure all product photos are completed in a timely manner, meeting daily shot count expectations and relevant deadlines • Execute product styling for more complex creative imagery supporting the brand’s identity and various marketing efforts • Attend weekly e-commerce turnovers with merchandise partners, maintaining a strong awareness of relevant priorities and product knowledge • Steam and prep samples in advance of shooting and while on set • Support sample management and efficient workflow through the use inventory database and project management platforms • Maintain clear organizational systems for samples, supplies, and props as well as the cleanliness of the studio at all times • Communicate creative concepts, ideas, and an awareness of current trends that contribute to the advancement of the brand Role Qualifications • Prior experience as a product stylist working with both hard and soft goods • Prior experience product styling on a mannequin form • Experience prepping a variety of products and materials in advance of product photography • Understanding of the Free People brand, its customer, and applicable trends within the fashion industry • Exceptional attention to detail and organization, creative problem-solving and time management skills • Experience and proven success b eing able to work effectively with others, communicate ideas, and contribute positively to a team dynamic • Ability to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities • Experience working within industry-related inventory database and/or project management platforms • Portfolio or examples of past work that display a product styling skill set • 3-5 years of relevant product styling experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Fine Art, or a related field, or equal work experience • Please include a Portfolio/Website of your related work Availability and eligibility to specific benefits may be subject to your location and employment status.
