HOW THE JOB WORKS:In this hands on role, the KCP Footwear Wholesale Sales intern will be working closely in all aspects of the Wholesales sales team with a focus on our footwear customers, competition, selling patterns, and the entire buying/selling process cycle. The Footwear Wholesale Sales Intern should be a motivated, organized team player with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic. The wholesale sales intern must be extremely detail-oriented and an organized individual who is eager to learn and assist the sales team in all aspects of the business.The Kenneth Cole internship program runs for 12 weeks. Interns must be available to work a minimum of 3 days a week from 9AM to 6PM. The Sales Intern must reside in the tristate area and be available to commute to our NYC office on an as needed basis as well as footwear department and specialty stores for competitive analysis.How You Work Weekly selling reports and analysis for all wholesale customers Special projects and market prep assistance with merchandising and design teams Learning the KCP footwear business and being able to discuss the brands strengths and weaknesses Attending and being a part of virtual market appointments and selling strategies Organizing and keeping inventory of samples and sample ordering process Competitive analysis and prospective customer account growth presentations required Microsoft Excel experience required
