Job Summary:

Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of the foundational principles of guest service and hands-on involvement in instilling a culture that revolves around prioritizing the guest experience throughout the storeFamiliarity with the fundamental principles of retail business operations, including monitoring department sales trends, managing inventory restocking, and implementing enhancements to streamline processesManaging daily and weekly responsibilities to uphold business objectives and achieve sales goalsMake guests feel appreciated by greeting them as you go about your routine tasks.Interact with guests in a gracious manner to address their specific needs and offer solutions when they require assistance.Convey appreciation to the shoppers and let them know we are glad they chose to shop at Target.Execute the daily assignments given to you by your supervisor to help meet goals that are in line with business priorities, which may involve handling product deliveries, restocking shelves with items, organizing the storage area, arranging merchandise, and setting up promotional materials for the GM sections.Operate power machinery with proper certification to shift merchandise or manage store fixtures.Execute tasks as specified by your leader, such as changing the prices of items, setting up and managing merchandise displays, and ensuring inventory accuracy for all sections of the store.Evaluate how activities like setting up merchandise displays, controlling stock levels, and ensuring tidy sales areas impact inventory management, store profitability, and the availability of products.Ensure you are well-versed in the array of resources, products, and services available in the store, with a specific focus on local offerings, to effectively address customer issues and enhance their overall satisfaction.Foster a workplace ethos that emphasizes ethical conduct, safety precautions, and regulatory adherence.Uphold a dedication to working securely by adhering to safety policies, industry best practices, and training guidelines, promptly reporting any identified dangers, and implementing corrective measures when feasible.Support guest services by covering cashier tasks and handling digital order processing procedures, such as assembling and delivering purchases to customers, all the while ensuring strict compliance with adult beverage laws set forth by federal, state, and local jurisdictions.The position may entail taking on extra responsibilities to meet the needs of the organizationBenefits:
