FINISHED PRODUCTS MANAGER

You will provide consistent quality of product with good  margins through sourcing and negotiation. Build and maintain technical product specifications for all product (BOM, hangtag /label art,  packaging and associated technical images as needed) Duplicate standardized tech packages for distribution to secondary vendors for competitive  costing and dual sourcing Create and maintain development and production time and action calendars to ensure on time  sample and bulk production deliveries Review, analyze and evaluate all products to ensure proper construction and quality Keep track of all fabric receipts and amount cut Create/enforce standards for quality control Communicate with factories to ensure on time delivery Source trims Create cost sheets to review with management for relevancy and meeting desired margin Manage vendor negotiations for development and product costs, payment terms, shipping  methods, MOQs, etc. Manage WIP reports on a weekly basis for all goods on order from production status through  final delivery into our warehouse to ensure timely delivery Distribute WIP reports to necessary departments Interact with cross functional team such as Design, Purchasing, Warehouse, Merchandising, and  Transportation/Logistics Actively participate in weekly production meetings with cross functional team members Issue photo shoot and sales sample po’s as needed Manage photo shoot and sales samples from factories by keeping tracking chart and coordinate  sample distribution as needed Work closely with Logistics and Warehouse on any packing slip or delivery issues Work with production, merchandising, design to provide administrative support as needed in  photo shoots etc Facilitate purchase orders for all items, place PO’s with factories and confirm capacity and  delivery Set-up and maintain the system information each season (style master, color codes, and all  production related data) Answer daily e-mail communication with factories, timely and completely You will ensure raw material and finished product manufacturing processes are best in class and  consistently result in first quality product delivered on time Train factories quality and fit standards and provide performance  feedback to factories regularly You will work with factories to ensure the quality control process and standard is clear. Knowledge and Skills: 7+ years of experience Excellent organizational and communication skills Clear understanding of product development and approval process Knowledge of all aspects of domestic manufacturing Knowledge of trims and yields Proficient MS Office skills – excel savvy** Strong planning and time management abilities Ability to multitask and attention to detail Willing to help pack, ship when necessary Ability to work long hours as needed - some fittings are in evening Strong negotiator Ability to work under pressure in an environment of constant shifting priorities and changes  ▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate goals and  objectives. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
