FINE JEWELRY DESIGNER

*Please note this is an "in-office" culture Overview: Based in NYC (fulltime in Office) Requires 3-8 years fine jewelry design experience (working extensively with gold, gemstones and diamonds) Reports into Founder/CEO/Chief Design Officer 2 direct reports: Assistant Designer and Product Manager Team of 3 total – CDO/Founder, this position, Assistant Must be strong in sketching and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign) Conceptualize with CDO, create spec spacks, samples through sketches and CADS, works with local supplier, etc Approximate salary range (based on skills/experience in relation to the role: $75-110k Job Description:The Jewelry Designer has a minimum of three years experience to become an integral part of our Fine Jewelry team. Collaborate with Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Design Officer to conceptualize and design jewelry collections Develop a deep understanding of the brand DNA and is responsible for creating line extensions in accordance with the brand aesthetic Flexible with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment Luxury jewelry, direct to consumer brand, inspired by the lifestyle of Founder, jewelry designer, curator and stylist.
