FINANCIAL ANALYST

J.Jill is headquartered outside Boston. Owns complex processes and contributes positively to the Finance team environment. Responsibilities : Assists in the development of the Company’s annual budget; supports development of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements Develops materials for Board of Directors meetings and provides analytical support to management in preparation for Board meetings, monthly business reviews and other key activities Supports business decisions by tracking P&L and delivering insights on financial and business performance to business units Develops analyses, presents recommendations and financial perspective in support of corporate strategic direction Implements improvements in financial planning activities by partnering with accounting, FP&A colleagues and business partners Maintains rolling cash flow and covenant reporting to ensure compliance with applicable debt covenants; track, analyze, and explain changes in cash Supports J. Jill’s procurement efforts by tracking projects and realized savings; partners cross functionally to implement savings in plan/forecasts Performs ad hoc analysis as needed to understand business performance and develops reporting tools to effectively communicate results Manages databases and develops ad hoc Excel reports Qualifications : Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
