Finance Manager

## Job description Position Overview: Under general direction, the Finance Manager will manage accounting and financial support, to include supervision of all accounting and finance personnel. You will be assigned to perform high-level accounting tasks and financial reporting requested by the General Manager, Global CFO and members of the management team. In addition, the individual in this role is responsible for establishing and maintaining records and reporting in accordance with legal guidelines. \- Oversees, supervises and supports all activities of accounting and finance operations, to include: \- Supervises the day-to-day financial activities, such as bookkeeping (i.e. general ledger maintenance) \- Invoicing (AR), collections and accounts payable \- Payroll processing \- Inventory count and reconciliation \- Expenses allocation \- Manages Finance interactions cross-functionally with other teams as necessary, including \- Global Finance team, HR, Sales, IT, Legal, Logistics as well as other parts of the company \- Provides support with local tax compliance & filing such as import/export tax planning, sales & use tax, payroll and reporting \- Cash Flow Management \- Promotes continuous improvement through leadership, guidance and education \- Provides advice, counsel and management of accounting and financial actions; ensures all applicable legal guidelines and best practices are followed \- Builds/enhances internal controls on key risk areas; implements rules and procedures to accommodate local and group reporting requirements \- Ensures financial records are maintained and reported in compliance with companies' policies and US GAAP \- Collaborates prepares and assists for internal and external audits \- Serves as an employee point of contact to finance procedures, accounting and payroll related questions \- Stays abreast of financial/accounting trends by participating in educational opportunities \- Drives the selection, implementation and upgrades of all financial systems and processes to ensure that we are maximizing our use of technology in streamlining operations and scaling with the complex nature of our workforce \- Ensures timely and accurate analysis, benchmarking, preparation presentation, and communication of Finance KPI's and metrics to the management \- Other duties as assigned, to include various ad-hoc research projects and/or special projects \- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
