Role Description The Fashion Stylist at The Denim Lounge is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. In this position, the stylist works directly with customers on the sales floor to understand their preferences, recommend denim and apparel, and create cohesive looks that fit their lifestyle. Daily tasks include greeting customers, conducting fitting sessions, offering styling advice, and maintaining an organized, visually appealing store environment. The stylist assists with product merchandising, supports sales initiatives, and helps meet individual and store sales goals. This role also involves learning product details, staying aware of current fashion trends, and contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Fashion Styling and Wardrobe skills to create cohesive outfits and advise on fit, trends, and personal style. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build rapport, listen actively, and provide clear, respectful guidance. Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend products, and support achieving sales targets in a retail environment. Candidates should ideally have experience in retail fashion or styling, with comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting. Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and collaborate effectively with team members. A passion for denim and contemporary fashion, attention to detail, and a professional, inclusive approach to all customers are strongly preferred.
