Fashion Resale Store Director

The store pays cash for clothes, offering customers an easy way to resell their fashion items while keeping styles in circulation. As part of a growing resale concept, the Cypress location focuses on delivering value, sustainability, and a curated shopping experience. This role manages staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring that buying, pricing, merchandising, and sales processes are executed consistently and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory flow, maintaining visual standards, tracking key performance metrics, and implementing store-level strategies to drive revenue and profitability. 5 yrs+Strong Store Management and retail leadership skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, performance management & strong organizational skillsKnowledge of Commerce and retail operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and basic financial metrics.Proven Sales abilities with a focus on meeting targets, upselling, and driving conversion in a fashion or retail environment.Excellent Customer Service skills, with a commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive experience for all shoppers and sellers.Experience in Training team members on buying standards, product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.Strong interest in fashion resale, and current style trends; prior experience in resale, thrift, or boutique retail is a plus.Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced setting.Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and willingness to learn new technology and processes.Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including weekends and peak retail periods.An inept ability to grow team members into leadersAbility to run a P & L and achieve sales growth from providing strong directionCan-do positive attitude, Team PlayerAccountable to Objectives, Team, and Sales GoalsResponsible for ensuring store profitability & strong team dynamics
