Fashion Merchandising

Job Title: Fashion Merchandising Instructor Fresno City College is seeking an equity-minded instructor to teach Fashion Merchandising courses on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of classes, including face-to-face and online formats. Essential Functions of the Position • Teach Fashion Merchandising courses as assigned • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff • Evaluate student progress through tests, examinations, written assignments, oral responses, etc. • Maintain classroom records in accordance with District Policy Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of directly related professional experience • Associate degree and six years of directly related professional experience • A valid California Community College Credential • The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency) Desirable Qualifications • Experience incorporating elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion into all areas of responsibility • Recent experience working with students from diverse backgrounds • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff • Knowledge of current assessment methods and materials
