Fashion Jewlery Designer (Internship)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Fashion Jewelry Designer Intern to support the development of distinctive jewelry concepts from initial research through design refinement. This paid internship offers practical exposure to fashion design, product development, and collaboration across creative and business teams. The intern will contribute ideas, prepare visual materials, and help translate design concepts into clear product specifications.

Responsibilities

Research fashion, styling, retail, and merchandising trends to inform jewelry concepts and color choices.
Develop artistic concepts, design sketches, illustrations, and vector artwork using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Assist with computer-aided design (CAD), 3D modeling, and product lifecycle management documentation as projects require.
Support material exploration, including textiles in industrial design, and help prepare samples using sewing and garment construction techniques when relevant.
Communicate design updates and feedback across functions. Your impact: Clear design handoffs help creative and product teams evaluate concepts and move promising ideas forward.

Skills

Required: Interest or background in fashion design, jewelry design, illustration, graphic design, professional art or design, and artistic concept development.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, graphic design software, graphic design illustration, vector illustration, color theory, CAD, or 3D modeling software.
Helpful: Exposure to product lifecycle management, fashion retail, fashion styling, merchandising, textiles in industrial design, garment construction, sewing, or sewing machine use.
Strong cross-functional communication and willingness to learn; theater experience is also welcome.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
