Title: Fashion Instructor Location: WHEDco Middle School Extended School Day Program at The Highbridge Green School- MS 361 Reports to: Coordinator of Education and Youth Development - Program Director About Us: The Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation (WHEDco) is a community development organization founded on the radically simple idea that all people deserve healthy, vibrant communities. Job Summary: In collaboration with the program director, school principal and other key stakeholders, the fashion instructor will lead the planning, development and implementation of a fashion arts program at WHEDco’s Extended School Day Program at The Highbridge Green School. The program should promote literacy, cultural competencies and artistic expression. Qualifications: • Minimum of two years’ professional experience working with children in a classroom, after- school or in a community-based environment leading and organizing activities. • Background, experience and/or demonstrated interest in at least one aspect of the fashion industry or art form.
