Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to flex between interior-design-focused tasks and architecture-focused tasks, including:Evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documentsPerform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager regarding the expected resultsMay work directly with owners/clients to select and recommend proceduresWrite specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviewsAssist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural processPerform other duties as neededThis position is intended for individuals who are not yet licensed in architecture. These individuals must demonstrate solid design thinking and strong knowledge of design fundamentals as expressed by their portfolio. S/he must possess good oral and written communication skills, and must be able to clearly present and explain a design concept to supervisors and peers. Having the ability to take direction from others and maintain a positive attitude is paramount, along with being a self-starter and team player.
