Up and Away, an established Americana-themed children’s and adult outerwear company located in the Fashion District of Los Angeles, seeks energetic and outgoing person to assist in all aspects of the business. Duties can/will include: wholesale and retail order confirmation, order fulfillment and shipping; new business development and sales both domestically and internationally; creative input and working with suppliers to produce promotional materials, corporate website revisions, and assistance with new style creation; custom order and private label pitches; receiving inventory shipments and interfacing with outside vendors; social media coordination and postings; researching product placement, influencer opportunities, and fashion trends, etc. This is a full-time, permanent position. Hours are 8:30 or 9:00 AM to 5:30 – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Note that order processing is a significant part of this job, especially during the busy months of September through March, and can take up to 50% of one’s day.
