Diamond's Choice is a growing online fashion resale business based in Madison, WI. I curate secondhand clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories and sell them across online marketplaces including Depop, eBay, and Poshmark.

In just a few months, it has grown to nearly 1,000 active listings and hundreds of sales by focusing on quality photography, organization, and exceptional customer service. I am looking for a dependable, detail-oriented contractor to help us continue growing.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of an online fashion business. You'll help prepare inventory for sale, photograph merchandise, take accurate measurements, organize inventory, and pack customer orders.

This position is ideal for someone interested in fashion, sustainability, photography, retail operations, or e-commerce.

Photography

Photograph clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories using company guidelines
Capture consistent, well-lit images
Photograph tags, labels, and any flaws
Prepare items for photography using a mannequin

Measurements

Take accurate measurements for various garment types, including tops, dresses, pants, skirts, outerwear, shoes, and handbags.

Inventory Management

Retrieve inventory from storage bins
Organize inventory by category
Return completed items to the correct storage locations
Help process newly sourced inventory

Packing & Shipping

Locate sold inventory
Inspect items before shipment
Fold and package items securely
Print shipping labels
Prepare USPS and UPS shipments
Help maintain an organized shipping area

Data Entry

Record measurements
Enter item details into spreadsheets
Verify brand, size, color, and condition
Follow established inventory procedures

Looking for someone who is:

Highly detail-oriented
Experienced with social media, Depop, or etc. (preferred)
Comfortable with photography on an iPhone (preferred)
Comfortable working independently
Organized and efficient
Interested in fashion, resale, or e-commerce
Willing to learn new systems
Comfortable standing for extended periods

Training will be provided.

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

Standing for several hours
Frequent bending and reaching
Using a step stool safely
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Pushing rolling carts containing inventory
Working in a climate-controlled storage facility

Schedule

10–15 hours per week
Flexible scheduling
Weekday availability preferred
Located in Madison, WI

Compensation

Starting at $12/hour
Paid weekly
Performance-based pay increases available
Opportunities for additional hours as the business grows
This position is classified as a 1099 Independent Contractor role and is not an employee position.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
