Fashion Direction Expert The Fashion Direction Expert - Seasonal Collections will be responsible for determining the brand's seasonal fashion direction and leading the development of original concepts that encompass style, color, print, pattern, and fabric. Key responsibilities include: • Determining the brand's seasonal fashion direction • Directing the creation of original concepts • Overseeing the initiation of product packages through the technical design team • Communicating the brand's business strategy to other design divisions and senior management in product management and merchandising • Shopping print studios and fabric mills to define print direction for the season and develop fabric, yarn, and trim strategies appropriate for the brand • Traveling as needed to shop appropriate markets and work with the trend office and product and design team to conceptualize the product design for the season • Directing the development and making seasonal merchandise presentations of proposed designs, including boards, original or prototype samples, and other visuals • Providing leadership, management, and development of the staff and leadership to the Division through product category expertise • Developing and ensuring adherence to the Seasonal Time and Action Calendar
