Fashion Development Intern

We are looking for driven individuals who are ready to learn everything there is to know about product development and building brands. This is the opportunity to understand what brands are looking for, how to enhance a brand, develop products, and gain knowledge of all apparel categories! Responsibilities • Help develop product for brands • Assist in the manufacturing process • Learn how to source fabrications for clients • Communicate with factories and work within timelines • Manage client portfolios • Troubleshooting for development • Client outreach • Coordinate sample pick-ups/drop-offs and run local errands (must have reliable car) • Organize and catalog swatches, trims, and materials • Assist with quality checks on samples and production garments • Help prep for client meetings, fittings, and development presentations • Maintain organization of the sample closet and studio workspace • Support with shipping, labeling, and packing materials as needed • Research current trends, references, and competitive market analysis • Handle Multiple Projects simultaneously within established time constraints Must come in 3 times a week for internship position. • Take charge of projects as assigned • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task without direct supervision • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills • Result-driven and highly motivated • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Exhibiting an extreme reverence to deadlines • Creative individual who is comfortable with working independently and in collaboration • Applicants must have the following a sincere interest in furthering their growth • Candidates must be able to commute to Downtown Los Angeles • Experience with Google Suite, Excel, and Canva a plus
