CAD Fashion Designer – Lingerie | Hybrid – Manhattan, NY Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong CAD and Illustrator skills, and a deep understanding of both design trends and garment construction—especially in lingerie and women’s ready-to-wear. This position is hybrid, based in Manhattan, NY. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the design team in the creation of commercially viable product across collections, with a focus on lingerie • Create detailed flat sketches and technical CADs, including custom lace brushes, patterns, and colorways • Develop and maintain line presentation boards, tableaus, and mood boards for milestone meetings • Build and maintain the sample room; track development samples and ensure timely delivery • Provide construction specifications and support the technical design team with scheduled fittings and follow-up • Support internal cross-functional communication with Product Development, Merchandising, Technical Design, and external vendors • Translate trend research into actionable designs by sourcing new inspiration and completing competitor analysis • Prepare prototypes, sketches, and technical packs that meet the brand’s design vision and fit standards • Adapt designs based on feedback while preserving brand identity and category-specific guidelines • Embrace opportunities for professional growth and continuously refine technical and creative skillsets What You’ll Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience • Prior design experience within a retail or fashion brand; lingerie experience preferred • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; Microsoft Office; Centric PLM a plus • Strong eye for fashion, with refined aesthetic sensibilities and commercial awareness • Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and technical communication • Excellent organization, time management, and sample tracking abilities • Ability to clearly communicate design intent and construction details • Open and adaptive mindset—welcomes feedback and demonstrates agility in fast-paced environments • A passion for product, collaboration, and continuous improvement
